Jenny Mod APK for Android: Safe Install Guide (2026)
Updated: October 3, 2026
Tested on: Minecraft Java 1.12.2 (Forge) and Bedrock 1.21 (Android) — re-checked October 2026.
There is no official “Jenny Mod APK” — and any site offering one that replaces your Minecraft app is dangerous. The safe way to play Jenny Mod on Android is the official Minecraft app + a fan-made addon file (.mcaddon). This guide shows you exactly how.
What You Need
- The official Minecraft app from the Google Play Store (version 1.21 recommended).
- A Jenny Mod Bedrock addon file (
.mcaddon) from our safe Jenny Mod download for Bedrock page. - About 500 MB free storage.
Step-by-Step Installation
- Download the
.mcaddonfile in Chrome — it lands in your Downloads folder. - Tap the file and choose Open with Minecraft. The game launches and shows “Import successful”.
- Create a new world (or edit an existing one).
- Open Settings → Behavior Packs and Resource Packs — activate the Jenny addon in both.
- Enable Experiments: Settings → Experiments — turn on the beta APIs the addon requests. Without this, characters may be invisible.
- Press Play — Jenny and friends spawn in villages and plains biomes.
“Unknown Sources” — Do You Need It?
No. Because you’re opening the addon with the official Minecraft app (not installing a separate APK), Android’s “Install unknown apps” permission is not required. If a guide tells you to enable it for Jenny Mod, that guide is describing the unsafe method — close it.
Download safely: Only download the Jenny Mod from this page or sources you trust. Avoid random “free download” sites — many bundle malware or fake files under the mod’s name.
Troubleshooting
- “Import failed”: re-download — the file is corrupted. Check the size matches.
- Characters are invisible: Experiments aren’t enabled. Go back to world settings.
- Game crashes on load: update Minecraft first, then clear the app cache (Settings → Apps → Minecraft → Storage → Clear Cache). More fixes: Jenny Mod crashing on Android fix.
